Hunting(Open to Super Lamb Banana)

[Naruto]

Shadefall wandered down to the canyon,his paws itching to hunt. "Come on,Deerpaw!"

[Wolvine]

Deerpaw grinned and began to run, her paws thundering against the ground. Soon she was racing ahead of her mentor. "Come on Shadefall!" She shouted behind her back. "I'm going to leave you behind if you don't hurry up!"

[Naruto]

"Not a chance!"Shadefall called back,grinning from ear to ear. He started running,digging his claws into the mud to help himself go faster. His muscles flexing smoothly underneath his raven-colored pelt,he started to catch up to his apprentice in a matter of moments.

[Wolvine]

Deerpaw gave a meow of laughter and began to run at full speed. I won't let him catch up! She was faintly aware of the sound of roaring water, but it wasn't until she came apon the Great River that she started to slow down. It was too late to stop fully though, and her head and front legs disapeared over the edge. The only part visable of the tortoiseshell she-cat where her back legs and tail. "Shadefall!" She cried.

[Naruto]

Shadefall felt horror jolt through his veins,and his body acted automatically. He leaped towards his apprentice,extended his paws,and dug his claws into her flanks. Then he heaved backwards to pull her up,praying to StarClan he wasn't too late.

[Wolvine]

As Deerpaw's head reapered over the bank she fel onto the ground and began gasping for air before begining to laugh again. She rolled over on her back, looked up at her mentors face and burst into fits of laughter again.

[Naruto]

"What's so funny?!"Shadefall demanded,anger pushing away the icy fear in his belly.

[Wolvine]

"You were so worried! I only half fell down!" She kept laughing. Really, Deerpaw had no idea why this amused her so much.

[Naruto]

Shadefall scowled at her. "You could have died!"

[Wolvine]

"I know! I have no idea why I'm laughing!" Deerpaw still couldn't stop.

[Naruto]

Shadefall sighed and poked his apprentice. "Just don't do that again. I should have warned you that the cliff was there. I'm sorry."

[Wolvine]

Deerpaw grinned and sat up. "Anyway, lets start hunting!"

Muselessnessness

[Naruto]

"Alright. Try to scent the air,and see if you can pick up any scents beyond this blasted snow."Shadefall mewed,relief in his voice.

[Wolvine]

OOC: EH! I forgot of this thred! Soorehs..

Deerpaw sniffed and sighed. "Not much I'm affraid."

[Naruto]

Shadefall sighed. "It's alright. There's also another method to hunting that's really hard;Sight Hunting. It's where you look around and see your prey before you do anything. I like to climb into a low branch of a tree,and when a mouse or rabbit is right underneath me,I pounce down on it."

[Wolvine]

"Mice would be easier I guess, seeing as they don't change colour at any point." Deerpaw meowed, scanning the area for prey of a tree that would be able to take her weight.

[Naruto]

Shadefall chuckled before launching himself into a small oak tree that over looked the forest floor. He crept out onto a low branch about five cat-lengths off the ground;it wobbled under his weight but he didn't stop. Then he crouched at the end of the branch,blending in perfectly with his dark surroundings.

[Wolvine]

Deerpaw looked up at her mentor in amazment. "I can harldy make you out! How am I ment to blend in?" The brown and white she-cat meowed.
