A lonely meal (Open to all)

Otterfoot yawned as a frosty beam of sunlight slanted through the leaves of the Warriors den. The light landed on his face waking him. He stood up and padded around his sleeping clan mates towards the entrance. Half in and half out he stretched before yawning again. He padded towards a corner in the clearing not covered with snow. He grabbed a scrawny vole from the Fresh Kill pile as he padded by. He sat down. Before biting into his meal, he thought. He was rather lonely. Would he make some friends or even find a mate?

Barkfur was just exiting the warriors den, in the middle of a stretch when she saw Otterfoot. She padded up to him, occasionaly shaking her paws so the snow would come off. "Hey Otterfoot. How's it going?" she grabbed a small shrew and skinned it partly.

Honeykit sped into the clearing and kicked up snow all around her, she purred happily, and she did even mind the cold.

Lillyflower watched her Kit happily from the warm Nurserys Entrance, making sure her Kit did not get hert or get in anyone's way.

"Oh not much." He mewed. "We probally need to get our prey checked." He mewed amusment shone in his eyes.

[Goldenstorm]

Barkfur quickly sniffed hers. Fresh, great. "Actually, I'm not hungry." she smiled, "Honeykit!" she purred, calling for the kit.

[Cheesles]

"We should get them checked anyway but don't give it to the kit yet, she'll eat it straight away. Look what happened to Dawnfur. Blazepaw is old enough to know, he said to me she's dieing." He mewed the last bit sadly.

[Goldenstorm]

"If you insist, Otterfoot. I guess your right. Honeykit is sweet, she doesn't deserve poisioned prey." Barkfur ended with a sigh. "Where would you like me to take it?"

[Lillyflower]

Honeykit raced over, her Golden Fur standing out agenst the snow, "Yes?" Honeykit meowed, once she had reached the other Cats.

[Cheesles]

"Come with us." Otterfoot mewed to the kit. "We'll go to the Medicine cat den." He said to Barkfur.

[Goldenstorm]

"You may lead. Ready to go Honeykit?" Barkfur mewed, a soft look in her eyes. She turned to Otterfoot and brushed against his pelt accidently, "Sorry." she mumbled, her fur hot with embarrasment.

"Why are we going to the Medican Cat's Den?" Honeykit meowed.

[Goldenstorm]

"So you can have this." Barkfur showed the scrawny shrew.

[Lillyflower]

Honeykit sniffed it and meowed "whats the matter with it?".

[Goldenstorm]

"I could be poisoned. So Otterfoot suggested we go see the Medicine Cat." Barkfur explained to the small kit.

[Lillyflower]

"but why do I have to go?" Honeykit asked.

[Goldenstorm]

"Honeykit, how old are you?" Barkfur eyed the kit questionabley.

[Lillyflower]

"Nearly 6 Moons" Honeykit replayed happily.

[Goldenstorm]

"Well, if you're so close to being an apprentice, you should learn how to check your prey." Barkfur smiled.

[Lillyflower]

"Okay" Honeykit meowed.

[Goldenstorm]

Barkfur gave a quick nod to Honeykit then waited for Otterfoot to lead the way.

"Ok come this way Honeykit!" Otterfoot lead the kit to the nursery holding some fresh kill.
