Half-Moon December 14th(LATE)

[Naruto]

Mori padded down to the Snowstone,her eyes weary. She'd had to take the long way around,because the way had been flooded. She paused,realizing she couldn't smell cat-scent. Oh well,they'll get here soon enough.

Featherstream walked up to the Snowstone, looking completely uninterested in what was going on around her. She sighed before sitting down next to the cold, smooth stone, and slowly looked over at Mori, the WolfClan medicine... wolf... thing.

She twitched an ear and her fur fluffed out when she gave a shake. She wasn't looking forward to standing around here. Last time it took ages for the other cats to get here. She had half a mind to just get it over with now, but she decided just to wait a while.

[Naruto]

Mori smiled at the other medicine cat,her teeth showing slightly. "How's the prey been running in DarkClan,Featherstream?"

"Fine, actually. Mice, voles, birds, they're all there. I think this season will be a better leaf-bare, though, I couldn't say the same for herbs." Featherstream sighed. Yes, the cold days would destroy any herb left in the territory. She had gotten cats in the clan to go scout the territory and look for any herbs that may be growing in a spot she hadn't looked yet, she knew she wouldn't be able to search the whole territory before the snow started to pile up. Her supplies weren't plentiful, and she hopped that they would have any sick cats or any injuries during this leaf-bare.

Ironically enough, the most of any herbs she had were deathberries, and those wouldn't help too well. "how has your clan been doing?" She asked with a tilt of the head.

[Naruto]

"Pretty well. We're gonna have to start eating mice if the deer get any scarcer."Mori barked,looking sideways for a moment. She thought she'd seen something. "But as for herbs...we only need Catmint for colds. Marigold grows along the border between DarkClan and WolfClan,as well as tansy and thyme."

Featherstream twitched her nose. Catmint grew abundantly in DarkClan's forest, and it could easily be said that their forest held the largest catmint supply. She had more than enough of the valuable herb in her stores to last six leaf-bares full of greencough. She would have offered to give the wolf some, but she didn't know how bad this year would be. "How much catmint do you need?" She asked. Maybe if they just needed a little. She could spare a few stalks.

She lifted her ears at Mori's information. "Really?" She hadn't checked over there yet. She had been checking in the areas where she usually got her herbs, as well as around the borders of Thunderclan, WindClan, and others. She had assumed that the cats she sent out had checked WolfClan, since that's what they had told her. Her ear twitched in annoyance. Lazy cats. "I'll have to check there. I'm running low on thyme and marigold, and I'm worried about my tansy supply. Do you know where I might find some watermint?" She had been having trouble finding those as well. She had a good supply, but she knew it wouldn't last.

[Naruto]

"Well,I'm guessing we'd need just a few stalks for now. I'm not sure how bad this leafbare'll be,although I doubt it will be good. All the prey's gone for the cats in the other territorys,so I guess they'll try to steal ours."Mori said,searching her brain frantically for her previous fighting instruction she'd taken before she'd become a shaman.

"Watermint? I would expect that to grow by the canyon,near the river."she suggested,twitching her ears.

Featherstream sighed reluctantly. "I have a few extra stalks I can spare. Would you like some?" She put on her most sincere grin, but under that was a feeling of contempt. "I suspected they'd be their too," Featherstream said with a nod, "but I didn't fine a single leaf of it when I went to check." She sighed and looked around.

He tail twitched in annoyance when she didn't see even a whisker of the other medicine cats. "I'm just about to start without them," she grumbles bitterly under her breath.

[Naruto]

"Cats are so slow..."Mori grunted under her breath,glaring around. "Oh,thanks. I can look for some watermint in my storage,and I can get you some so it'd be an even trade."she suggested louder.

[Member]

"Sound good," Featherstream mewed with a nod. "I'm sure I could go get them now if I wanted to. These other medicine cats are so slow I could leave for moons and not even miss one of them," she said, rolling her eyes. She was sure NightClan wouldn't give objections to whatever she did now.

[Naruto]

"I know..."Mori grunted. "Why do we even have these half-moon meetings? The medicine cats never come."

Lostpaw picked her way into the the cave where the Snowstone was. This was her first time here, and her mentor wasn't even here to guide her! Ung. She relied on only the scent trail of the other cats and wolf to get here. Her paw struck a random rock, and she went toppling and turning into the area that smelt like stone and snow. Guess I'm here... She muttered inwardly. She stared around, unable to see anything but the darkness of her own blindness. Her little nose twitched as she scented wolf and one other cat. That's all? Man, that's pathetic. She nodded to the wolf and cat and moved around them, shuffling her paws so she could feel the other pebbles an rocks.

[Naruto]

"Where is Moonecho?"Mori said,her tone polite but confused. She shifted,shuffling her paws on the cold earth. "My paws are gonna freeze if I stay out here much longer..."she grumbled to Featherstream,blinking.

Featherstream smelled the ThunderClan sent coming off of the ThunderClan medicine cat... apprentice, it seemed. "Who are you?" She asked in a tone that sounded like she didn't really care in the least. She looked over at Mori. "I say we just start now. If the other cat will come they can stick their noses on here if they want to."

[Naruto]

"Good idea. But I dobt StarClan would like it." Mori's voice held the faintest hint of a snarl. "Yes,what is your name? You are Moonecho's apprentice,correct?"she said in a louder voice,looking over to the ThunderClan cat.

[LEN KAGAMINE]

"Yes, I'm Moonecho's Apprentice. I am Lostpaw... And, don't ask why I was named that..." She moved her head to where it seemed that she was looking at the stone. "Moonecho couldn't make it... She sorta dissappeared, but then again, she never really was here at all..." Her voice was monotone, no emotion showing. Figures after what she's been through in the past... Moon.

[Naruto]

"How is ThunderClan doing?"Mori asked,curious.

Echodrop, eyes fixed forwards and head poised in its usual manner, padded with heavy footsteps to Snowstone. Sure, RiverClan was doing fine alright, fine with boredom however. Of course, prey was always an issue in leafbare, but at the moment they were faring quite well compared to all of the other clans. Tabby tail shivering in the cold, she came in view of the glittering rock, two cats and one wolf. Hmph. It seemed as if one was an ... apprentice? No Moonecho apparantly. Nodding simply to the three, she murmured, hoping for some sort of important dream. "Good evening."

[LEN KAGAMINE]

Lostpaw looked over to the cave entrance when the scent of Riverclan rushed into her open maw. "Good evening. How's Riverclan, with the tainted water and prey?" Yes, she already knew about this. How? Simple. Her leader was in her den along with a warrior, and a Riverclan apprentice who was helping dry off some warriors said that he found a dead body in the river, tainting the prey, which she already knew that part.

Frost eyed the misterious cats. She wasn't usually shy around others but she hadn't meet these cats.
"Who are they Mori?" She whispered.

[Naruto]

"The medicine cats. That over there is Echodrop,medicine cat of RiverClan. Lostpaw is ThunderClan,and Featherstream is DarkClan." She nodded towards each of the cats as she named them. Mori smiled encouragingly at her subordinate. "Don't worry. When I introduce you to StarClan,you'll love it."

Finally! Featherstream thought as she watched Echodrop come over to the Snowstone. Now they just needed the WindClan medicine cat. How long would that take? Did these cats forget what day it was or something?

"Hello, Echodrop." She shuffled her paws in the snow, boredly making a shape of two, ruining the spots perfection. She twitched her ears at Lostpaw's snarky comment about the tainted river and rolled her eyes. Featherstream was sure everyone knew about that.

"Ok." Frost said slightly reasurred. She looked over each of the cats and stepped out from behind Mori. She looked at Lostpaw and Featherpaw, the same age as her.

"Careful. Cats aren't as friendly as they are perturbed to be in nursery tales,"she warned,eyes flashing. Mori looked around. "Should we start without the WindClan representative? It took long enough for most of us to get here,and WindClan might not send anyone at all."
