Rouge Attack!

Shadestone stalked through the mountains beside camp, keeping alert for any signs of prey. He kept walking for a while, looking for prey without avail. He nearing the end of the mountain range when a rouge cat pounced on him, diggin his claws into Shadestone's shoulders. Shadestone let out a yowl of fury, stood on his haunches, and pushed his back against a rock wall, crushing the rouge. Suddenly, another rouge with white fur leaped down from the mountains, slashing at Shadestone's exposed belly. Shadestone collaped with pain, but quickly sprang up again and dove into the white rouge, knocking him over so Shadestone could claw at his belly. But the first rouge, one with a dark coat, leaped beside Shadestone and bit down into his scruff, dragging him off the other rouge. Together the two rouges attacked Shadestone powerfully, and soon they had a bleeding, beaten-up Shadestone cornered, and they were about to finnish him off.

"WRAAAAAAAA!"a large ginger cat roared,leaping to the injured cat's defense. Her green eyes were full of fury,she growled at the rogues and unsheathed her claws. Flarestorm snarled and took an advancing step closer to the two,her tail swishing back and forth as she decided on whether or not to attack them.

Rainpaw was wandering the forest, sobbing. She heard growling and saw Shadestone outnumbered. She let out a furious howl, hoping other would hear it. She charged into the dark tabby "Get off of him you piece of crow-food!"

OOC: Well Blaze didn't post in the rogues' perspectives, so how would I know they were her characters? Hm?

Shadestone's eyes were filled with gratitude as he glanced at Rainpaw and Flarestorm. Now the filthy rouges were outnumbered. Shadestone tackled the large white tom. Shadestone's injuries made him slower, but he felt more confident now that his clanmates had arrived. "Who are you?" Shadestone hissed into the tom's ear. "Cloudstorm. The noble father of my kit!" The white cat howled, pushing Shadestone off of him with his mighty paws. "Come on, Neddlecalw, we can take these losers. Just look, one of them's a kit!" Cloudstorm snarled, pointing his tail toward Rainpaw. With that, Neddleclaw rounded on Rainpaw, clawing out large clumps of her fur. "Come on, Flarestorm! Are you going to let these two pieces of fox-dung call you a loser?" Shadestone called, seeing Flarestorm had not desided whether to attack or not.

Rainpaw yowled in fury. "A kit? You think I'm a kit? Just watch and see what this kit can do." she growled in Needleclaw's ear as she clawed it. She rolled onto him trying to rip out the fur on his back. She was biting repeatedly on Needleclaw's side.

OOC: Oops, I just reilized that I've been spelling Needleclaw wrong.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Are you a frail elder instead?" Needleclaw mewed sarcasticly, as he grabed Rainpaw in her scruf and flung her off of him. His ear was bleeding, but that didn't stop him from advancing on Rainpaw ready to finnish her off.

Flarestrom yowled angrily and launched herself at Nettleclaw,aiming to tackle him in his shoulder to back him off of Rainpaw so she could recover. "I'm your opponent."she hissed.

"No Flarestorm! I want this rogue for myself." Rainpaw snarled, heaving herself nimbely off the grassy ground. "Can't take an apprentice, you ratty excuse for a cat?" she hissed at the cat while launching at him, batting his side and knocking him over.

Needleclaw yowled in rage as Rainpaw bowled him over. Then, he swiftly turned his head and sank his teeth into Rainpaw's neck, making a deep gash. But he wasn't aiming just to hurt; he was aiming to kill. Shadestone saw that Needleclaw was sinking his teeth too deep into Rainpaw's neck, and reilized with horror what he was trying to do. So he sprang at Needleclaw, landing next to him. Then, Shadestone raked his claws down Needleclaw's flank, making a gash deep enough for Needleclaw to let go of Rainpaw so he could yowl in pain. Needleclaw sprang up, launching himself at Shadestone. The two fought vigorously with rage. While they were doing that, Cloudstorm sprang at Flarestorm, bowling him over. It was clear that these rouges were truly skilled in fighting.

Rainpaw gasped for air, quickly recovering though she was losing blood. She charged into Needleclaw once again and found the top of his neck while landing on him. She clawed at it furiously, she bit at it repeatedly. She knew that eventually he wouldn't be able to fight any longer and would run off.

Flarestorm pushed at the rogue with her back paws,snarling in fury. Blood dripped down her cheek from a shallow cut she'd sustained from the rogue when he'd leaped at her,and she winced.

Shadestone helped Rainpaw fight the rouge; batting at his sides with unsheathed claws. "Needleclaw's going to roll over on his back; get ready to jump off of him," Shadestone hissed into the apprentice's ear. Suddenly, Needleclaw collapsed, sides heaving, blood gushing out of his various wounds. After seeing Needleclaw collapsed, Shadestone leaped over to help Flarestorm fight off Cloudstorm. Shadestone tackled Cloudstorm to the ground, pinning him down with his front paws. "What do you want with RiverClan?" Shadestone snarled in his ear. "It's not RiverClan I'm after; it's you!" Cloudstorm hissed, pushing Shadestone off of him with his powerful hind legs. "What do you want from me, then?" Shadestone hissed in reply. "I want my warrior back!" Cloudstorm yowled, his voice echoing through the mountains. Suddenly he sprang away from Shadestone, rushed to Needleclaw's side, and helped him stand up. "You can expect much more of this if you don't give me what I want," Cloudstorm breathed, staggering away from RiverClan territory. Shadestone watched the two rouges leave.

Rainpaw charged after them, stopping two fox-lenghts past the border. "You'd better stay out if you want to keep your fur!" she snarled. Blood was still running down her dusty fur and she was limping, but her eyes shone with bright determination and pride.

Shadestone limped across the border over to Rainpaw. "Thank you, for kinda saving my fur," He mewed awkwardly. "You fought like a warrior." Shadestone lead the way back across the border, meeting up with Flarestorm. "We should probably head back to camp and see Echodrop," He mewed, waiting for consent from Flarestorm.

"Thankyou, Shadestone." Rainpaw dipped her head. She followed Shadestone back to the others.

"Your welcome," Shadestone murmured.

"Yeah,"Flarestorm muttered,glaring mutinously over the border. She would have charged straight over the border had she not been brought to her senses by the other cats' quiet mews.

Rainpaw saw the intensity in Flamestorm's eyes. She decide to take her mind off things slightly "Should we report this?"

[Naruto]

"Er,Yes. I think we'll need to have at least three cats on every patrol from now on."Flarestorm mewed,shaking her head slightly.
