Batpaw padded after Leafpaw to the leader's den,his golden eyes unalarmed and blank. He saw kits playing in the snow and queens poking their heads out of what must be the nursery to call them inside. He saw warriors assembling in the clearing for the moon-high patrol. He remained silent the whole time,hoping that no one would notice him. That's how he carried out most of his days. Being a silent shadow that drifts around camp and looks depressed.

Leafpaw sat down inside Silverstar's den. She shivered as the cold air clung to her wet and heavy fur. It felt almost, sticky on her. She didn't like the feeling it was very uncomfortable for her. Not only that, but she was fatigued, tired to the breaking point. She kept her head high, though, and looked as energized as a kit in the nursery.

"This is it,right?"Batpaw muttered,stopping at the entrance to the leader's den. He waved his tail high in the air,and peered into the darkness,trying to find the cat that lived here.
