Nightjaw lay outside, the snow slowly covering him. He was now white and only his burning eyes could be seen. Life on his own was not as grat as he thought. Prehaps Shadowclaw was feeling the same grief?

Shadowclaw scraped away some snow and then some dirt. He buried the remains of his scrawney fish and then scraped the dirt and snow back over the same spot. He shook the snow from his pelt which was pointless as more toke its place. He noticed Nightjaw at the edge of camp alone. He couldn't help feel a pang of greif for the loss of his good friend. But it was his fault, blaming him for all the problems facing the clan at the moment. It was pointless and wouldn't change anything.

He padded over and mewed, "Patrol, you and me, now." Hopng that Nightjaw would just oblidge.

OOC: Uh... Just want to point out that the snow are just flurries and they don't stick, they melt as soon as they hit something.

OOC: Aha.... I thought that only hapened when the body was warm? If something is the same teperature as the snow then it wouldn't melt cuz then how would the snow cover ground? Nightjaw wasn't moving, so eventually his body temperature would decrease, allowing the snow to cover him. Right?

"Vey well, but would it kill you to say please?" Nightjaw carried on staring into nothingness.

Spiralpaw just getting into her medicine cat apprentice duties was horribly confused. She was having a hard time, balancing her emotions about her beloved sister's leaving, her medicine cat duties, and deciphering her visions of the future. She was completely frazzled with all the new injuries, illnesses and other mishaps these cats were getting into. Her pelt was soaked with melting snow, and she was tired of this weather, before she knew it, she could be frozen inside of the medicine den, or the river would freeeze over, and then what? They would all die.

And on top of that, friendships were being broken, the deputy, Shadowclaw had lost one of his best friends in Nightjaw for what ever reason. Though she usually didn't care much for gossip it was hard to ignore how dependent they used to be on each other. And with that friendship broken, all kinds of things could go wrong. This clan needed friendships in these hard times, especially now when the world could be pulled from under their feet, and with StarClan abandoning them. She hadn't heard from them in a while, and she was usually more connected to them then most medicine cats. Walking around camp all she saw was no hope, and starving cats, things were bad.


"Hey! Nightjaw, Echodrop wants you to help me find herbs... Now." she yowled already walking out of camp at Nightjaw, with a hidden glare at Shadowclaw. Most of this was truly his fault, but as a Medicine Cat she couldn't hold favorites.

[Wolvine]

"Sorry Shadowclaw, medicine cat's orders." He got up and walked after Spiralpaw.
