"Good," Treepaw said. He saw Foxkit was going for the leaf, so he decided to work with that. "Stay down wind," he whispered as if it were actually prey, "and when you get close enough pounce and kill it quickly!" Tansykit and Beekit watched Foxkit, trying to see how she was doing it, immitating her in their own minds.

Foxkit barely nodded,her instincts taking over. She paused,just long enough for the wind to blow a torrent of slanted rain in her face,before she placed her paw down. She continued on until she was at least a tail-length from the leaf,before crouching even lower,her belly fur brushing the ground. She pounced and landed on the leaf,her claws poking holes in the thin material.

"Good job!" Treepaw exclaimed before walking over to Foxkit. "Now that's something we can put in the fresh kill pile! Beekit and Tansykit ran over to Foxkit and gave her congratulating wails. Rosekit looked over at Foxkit, he was still on the edge about her. He stood next to her and looked at the leaf she had caught.

Foxkit purred in pride,her eyes shining. "I bet I would be able to catch a mouse really easily!"she boasted,puffing out her chest. "'Cause I'm gonna be the greatest leader this forest has ever seen!"

"Leader," Rosekit grunted, "I had that dream too, and now look at me." Beekit glared at him. "What? She can't hear me anyways." Beekit sighed before looking back at Foxkit.

"I'm sure you're going to be a great leader."

"Yeah!" Tansykit agreed.

"And when you become it you'll be able to put this place in better shape than it already is!" Tansykit and Beekit nodded.

"Who'd you make deputy!" Tansykit asked her with a large grin.

[Naruto]

"Hmm,"Foxkit said,her eyes going blank with thought. Then she smiled wickedly. "I won't tell you who I'd pick until I become leader! I wanna surprise you guys!" She giggled,her eyes shining blue with amusement.

"Aww, come on! I'd tell you!" Tansykit begged Foxkit, wanting her to spill her guts, figuratively of course.

"Yeah, don't keep all your secrets! We need to know too! What if we have to back you up on something!" Beekit joined in with Tansykit, wanting to know as much as he did.

[Naruto]

Foxkit continued smiling. "I won't tell!"she mewed,her tail twitching with excitement. "'Cause then you'd both go about the Clan telling everyone!"

"Nuh uh!" Tansykit and Beekit said in unison, wearing sad faces. They wouldn't tell anyone! They'd bind themselves to StarClan and willing go to the depths of the Dark Forest for it, or, they thought they would.

Tansykit grinned. "Tell us!" He lunged at Foxkit playfully.

[Naruto]

Foxkit squeaked in surprise,and then laughed,batting at Tansykit playfully. "No way!"she mewed confidently. "If you two can beat me,I'll tell."

"Fine, we'll have to beat you then!" Tansykit mewed before he started to batter back at Foxkit. "Come on Beekit!" Beekit grinned and crouched down before jumping in with the two.

Treepaw watched the kits play together. He smiled as he watched them. Rosekit was frowning, though. Being dead he couldn't actually play with them, just watch.

Foxkit giggled and battered at the other kits with her back paws. "You really wanna hear who I'd pick as deputy,don't ya?"she laughed,being pushed to the ground by Beekit's tackle.

"Yes!" Tansykit got into a position to pin Foxkit down. Beekit laughed and helped him out.

"Tell us, Foxkit!"

Foxkit was pinned,her grin unwavering. "Fine! My deputy would be..."she paused,her eyes full of amusement. "Tansykit!"

"I knew it!" Tansykit cheered he jumped up from Foxkit and jumped around. He did a little dance and then stopped before grinning.

"Congratulations, Tansykit!" Beekit said with a laugh. Treepaw smiled.

"That seems like a good choice, Foxkit." Treepaw mewed.

[Naruto]

Foxkit smiled proudly. "Told ya I'd be the best leader ever!"she mewed,her smile deepening with anticipation. "When will Redstar make us apprentices?"

Beekit shrugged. "Whenever he thinks we're ready, I think." Treepaw nodded.

"Yes, Redstar will make you apprentices the day you're ready, and I'm sure that's soon."

Foxkit nodded grudgingly. "But we're already six moons old!"she complained,blue eyes flashing with annoyance.

"Well, complaining won't make you a warrior. Do you think Redstar wants warriors that complain about everything in his clan?" He looked at Foxkit and tilted his head. She wouldn't get anywhere if she wined like that, but she was just a kit.

[Naruto]

Biting back a sharp complaint,Foxkit said instead,"Who do you think our mentors will be?"

Treepaw shrugged. "I couldn't tell you. It could be anyone. Solarscar, Feralpelt, anyone."

Foxkit tilted her head,curious. "Whats it like being an apprentice? Do you have to fight danger all the time? Even in you're own Clan?"she wondered,her eyes shining eagerly.

"Yes, you do" DustClaw meowed from behind Foxkit, a mouse hanging in his jaws. "When i was an apprentice we found this fox on a patrol and i got a deep gash on my shoulder, couldn't walk right for half a moon."

Foxkit's eyes grew wide as she turned to face Dustclaw. "Really! Did you drive it off?"

"Well, yeah.. "he meowed "but at what price" he meowed quietly as he was remembering something greusome..
