The Legendary Vote [OPEN PLEASE VOTE]

Silverstar led the two DarkClan cats into camp, eyes calm and composed. She ignored the glances from her clanmates, bewilderemnt crossing almost every face.

"A decision is to be made. Every cat gather for a clan meeting."

She watched as each cat gathered timidly. In a second, the message was what. Her clan would vote on whether or not to become DarkClan's allies.

"I will not vote. This is your decision and any one you decide on will be the right one. Everyone agreeing on one side and everyone disagreeing on the other."

Raindapple stared up at Silverstar with wide eyes. She remembered the stories she'd heard of how Tigerstar had taken over ShadowClan,and then RiverClan. Her tortoiseshell and white pelt bristled uneasily as she tried to decide.

Mistpaw stood close by,her tiny frame made smaller by squishing herself to the ground. She was terrified,but her eyes were full of defiance. She moved cautiously over to the side that disagreed.

Rockkit squeaked,his eyes wide with curiosity. "Who are you?"he asked,bouncing up to Nightstar,his blind side not taking in the furious glances and bristling pelts.

Spiderfang glanced at her leader,amusement bright in her eyes.

Hawkfire growled at the visitors. He certainly did not want an alliance with Darkclan. Thunderclan believed in Starclan, Darkclan believed in something he thought didn't actually exist. They just wanted to be even with the rest of the clans. Hawkfire stalked toward the side that didn't want the alliance to stand. Flicking his tail, he beckoned his apprentice to follow. "You don't want to ally with these scoundrels, do you?"

"Nightstar, and who are you young one?" asked Nightstar being the kind leader that he is. (So much lies) He turned to the small kit trying to keep the evil out of his cold blue eyes and trying to warm them up. Even though he came off creepy when he did. He sat below the highrock, watching Silverstar with eagerness from below, waiting for the clans decision.

[Naruto]

Rockkit purred. "I'm Rockkit! I'm going to be the best warrior this forest has ever seen!" Then he squeaked in fright. "Wh-where'd you go?" He'd turned to his blind side and now couldn't see where Nightstar was.

Raindapple sighed,and thought hard. She glanced down,at the ground. "What would you choose?"she asked Leopardstrike silently. She could almost hear his voice in her head;Totally! For the good of ThunderClan,I'll choose yes. She moved over to the side that approved and stared up at Nightstar with her clear blue eyes.

Spiderfang shifted,looking across the crowd. "We've already got one,"she murmured to Nightstar,nodding to Raindapple.

Branchpaw looked at the DarClan cats with them. What was he to choose? Stay with them, or not? Well... why not? What would be the harm of allying with them? They'd all die from starvation? It wasn't like that wasn't going to happen soon with all the retreating prey. And maybe they'd help them with food. Branchpaw quickly padded over to the the side that agreed with allying with the cats, joining Raindapple. "W-Well..." Branchpaw started to Hawkfire, his mentor. "Why not?"

Leafkit walked over next to Rockkit and looked up at the cats. She looked over at Nightstar and then over to Spiderfang.

"You're the leader?" Leafkit said flicking a tail towards Nightstar, "you're shorter than Mistpaw! How could you become leader. Doesn't she," Leafkit said gesturing to Spiderfang, "look more like the strong leader? You just don't fit the description. She does, though. The strong leader, but you look...." She trailed off before she spoke again, "How can I believe you're the leader?" Leafkit looked over at Rockkit and sighed. "Turn your head back over here, Rockkit."

[Naruto]

Rockkit started at his sister's voice and turned his head,Nightstar's face coming into focus. "Oh,thanks,Leafkit!"he mewed. Then he prodded her. "Hey! Doesn't mom always say to respect your elders?"

Leafkit's ears drooped a little. He was right, she let her opinion get in the way again. She was usually good at hiding that. Like with Fatspa- Shinespark. Yeah, with Shinespark. "You're right," she nodded and looked back at Nightstar. "I'm sorry, Nightstar. I forgot my manners."

Nightstar sighed, these kits were worse than his own kits, always bickering and obviously mentally retarded. Insulting him for his small size, bah! To StarClan with them. "Apology accepted." meowed Nightstar calmly betraying his dark thoughts. Seeing Raindapple take her place with the other approving cats he smiled. "Keep an eye on that one, Spiderfang." he whispered to his aide.

[Naruto]

Mistpaw looked up at the Highledge,suddenly nervous about her decision. "Er..."she muttered,her blue eyes searching. She crept past Hawkfire and sat beside Branchpaw. The tiny silver tabby was shaking in her fur,the black stripes that merged on her pelt like shadows on a misty forest floor.

Spiderfang nodded,her amber eyes intense. "Another one,eh?"she mumbled,flicking her tail at Mistpaw,who cowered down,her blue eyes huge with fear.

"No, I'm really sorry," leafkit mewed to Nightstar. She shouldn't have done that, and to a leader no less! That wasn't right, not at all. What would her mother say? "I'm going to go to that agreement side to show you how sorry I am." She stood up and pushed her brother to get him to start moving. "Come on, Rockkit!"

"Alright..."Rockkit mewed. "Will you come play some time?"he asked Nightstar hopefully.

Sandfur's eyes widened with shock. How could Silverstar just think of beeing allies with another Clan? She moved to the side with the cats, who were against the alliance, too.


Blazekit padded to the other kits. "Don't go near this cat! He will shred you to pieces, he is pure evil!!!", she mewed. She bit Rockkit softly at the tail and tried to pull him away.
"Leafkit, don't excuse yourself! Go away! This mangy furball doesn't deserve our respect!!! Let's go back to the nursery. Hurry up! He is dangerous!" Blazekit mewed desperately. She didn't want to loose her littermates to an enmy cat so soon.
With a flick of her tail she pointed to the nursery. "Pleeeeeaseee. Come with me back to Dawnfur!"
She turned to Nightstar. "You don't have to act all nice! I know how evil you are and I will defend my brothers and sisters from you!!", she spat, her fur on end and ears flat.

[Raintalon]

Raintalon laid his ears back, his fur bristling. Darkclan were untrustworthy and just desperate to intimidate everyone else. Putting his head up high, he proudly stalked over to the non-alliance side of the voters, shooting a glare at Nightstar.

"Goodbye, young kit." meowed Nightstar sternly, ignoring the fiery glance from Raintalon which meant as much to him as how long a mouse tail was. This clan truely had no respect for their elders, and betters but they were ThunderClan, mangy kittypets, but they were still the second strongest clan in the forest. Next to DarkClan of course. And they would make great allies.

[Naruto]

"Awww..."Rockkit said,his head hanging. "Okay,Blazekit." He trotted with his sisters over to the nursery,tail waving in farewell.

Raindapple gazed around,hoping to find Redwhisker. But why should she? He'd caused her nothing but pain about her descision. But she loved him,and she couldn't help but feel hopeful he was there.

"Blazekit, you don't have to be so rude. Honestly, if he was that bad, why would Silverstar do this whole alliance thing? Besides, wouldn't the alliance stop him from doing the oh so evil things he's going to do to us?" Leafkit rolled her eyes, her sister sure knew how to conclusions. Maybe she was just siding with the warriors because they didn't want the alliance or something. She stayed where she was, not moving an inch towards the nursery. Why should she? There was no rule that said she had to. Anyways, she still has to give her vote.

Whisperpaw stared intently at Nightstar, eyes blazing darkly. THe tom was wedged into the shadows, nly his sapphire eyes showing. Frankly, he didn't know which to pick; whether to do it or not to do it. ThunderClan was the strongest clan in the forest, DarkClan being the second. He had no doubt they couldn't win a battle; but as allies they would be even stronger. Unfortunately though, DarkClan was evil. Whisperpaw simply sat there, in utter darkness, and his eyes stayed fixed on Nightstar, almost daring the other tom to look at him.

[Lillyflower]

Lillyflower sighed and then went over to the side which was with DarkClan. "I need to protect my unborn Kits" Lillyflower meowed.

[Lynx]

"Leeeeeeeeafkit", Blazekit squealed from the nursery. "Come on, we wanna play! We're too young to vote! Didn't it always says 'all cats old enough to catch their own prey', we're not, so come one, we need another kit!"

[Naruto]

Raindapple's eyes spotted Whisperpaw,and she smiled encouragingly from the 'alliance side'.

"Yeah!" Leafkit yelled back at her sister, "Well she didn't say that this time! She said 'All ThunderClan cats' and I'm in ThunderClan! I can vote!" She was being difficult, but she didn't want to go to the nursery. Even if she did believe Nightstar was the Death Cat from the Dark Forest, she still wouldn't hide away. She stood up and shot her sister a glares before walking over to the agreeing side and sat next to Raindapple.

[Naruto]

Raindapple looked down at Leafkit. "Are you sure?"she murmured,her voice thick with grief. Her eyes showed the pain she was in,just wishing that Leopardstrike would come home.

[Lynx]

Blazekit couldn't believe what she saw. Her sister agreed to the alliance!
Blazekit had to do something and that means she had to vote, too. "Rockkit, we have to vote, too.", she mewed. "Leafkit is also voting so we have to present our opinion. I won't judge you. You're my brother."
Then she raced toword the "non-alliance" side and sat down beside Sandfur.


Sandfur watched how Blazekit raced towar her. The young cat crashed into her side. "Cool down, young one!", she mewed.

"Sorry", mewed Blazekit and sat straight beside the brown she-cat.

Sandfur gave Blazekit an encouraging lick between the ears and whispered "You've done the right thing."
