The Bad/Good News(Memberpaw and Raindapple)

[Naruto]

Church ran into the forest,hoping that Clovernose was behind him. He had to tell her about Gizmo leaving,and that might be bad. NO MUSE DX

Clovernose paced back and forth. She was expecting kits! She knew it! How was she going to tell Church? Just say, "Hey Church, you want to go for a walk? By the way, I'm expecting kits." No, that was just out there. She had to do it subtly. She had to tell him gently.

[Naruto]

"Clovernose? You okay?"Church called,his gray tabby fur fluffed up from the chill and the rain. She's been acting strange lately....he thought,eyes filling with concern.

Clovernose's head quickly snapped up to Church. Her pelt bristled, but quickly lied flat again. Oh no, he was here! What was she going to do? Say? She didn't even have time to go through it in her mind.

"Um... er.. um."

[Naruto]

Church stopped,turning back. "Are you okay?"he asked,worry laying thick in his tone. "Do you need to see Moonecho?"

Okay, he was asking questions now. All Clovernose had to do was calm herself and then tell him calm. "Church, I'm going to have kits," just like that. That's what she was going to say, calmly. Clovernose took a deep breath.

"Church! I'm going to have kits!" She blurted out loudly. It was everything, but calm, like an old secret desperate to get out. That's not what she was going for.

[Naruto]

Church's eyes widened. "Really?"he whispered,almost inaudible. Then warmth filled his gaze,and he stepped up beside Clovernose,purring. "That's great!"he meowed,his tail twining with hers.

"Yeah... g-great." Clovernose panted. Her heart beat quickly. She was all nervous and for what? Nothing. She purred when Church came up to her. Her eyes widened in realization and she backed away from Church. "We can't have kits! Not in all this rain and all the lack of prey. They'll all die before their first moon!"

[Naruto]

Church looked troubled. Then he straightened. "We'll be okay,"he said confidently. "I'm sure we'll be fine."

[Member]

"No, we won't be," Clovernose said seriously, "we can't be. There's not enough to go around, everyone will be as thin as twigs by the time they're born, and all the prey will be so scarce it'll be like they were never here." She looked down at her paws, sadness overwhelming her.

[Naruto]

Church looked saddened for a moment. "What about DarkClan? We can go there. There will be more prey,and Gizmo said he was going there anyway."he said,getting excited. "These kits don't have to die!"

[Member]

"How do you know that?" Clovernose questioned him. "What if it's exactely the same there like it is here? What if nothing changes? What if they don't even let us in?"

[Naruto]

"They'll let us in,"Church growled,his claws unsheathing. "I'll make sure of it. Plus,they are smaller than ThunderClan,so they do have more prey. And they also occupy a larger territory."

[Member]

Clovernose nodded. That made sense, a lot of sense. "Church, don't do anything rash if we do get there," she said, looking down at his now sheathed claws. "They will have warriors, and I'm sure they'll have more than two."

[Naruto]

"I won't,if you insist."Church said,smiling. He sighed,sheathing his claws. "When should we go? I'm sure that ThunderClan wouldn't notice if we left,they might even be grateful."

[Member]

"I'm.... I'm not sure," Clovernose looked down at her paws. When would they leave? How would they do all this! It was crazy, all crazy. How would they work, operate? What if they don't let them in the clan? What if the clan is just as bad as it is here? What if the clan was all a myth! She wasn't at that gathering! What if.... what if living there was just as bad as it was living as a loner? Clovernose eased down into a laying position. She wasn't going to be able to do that much longer. "I don't even know if I can go over there," she said sorrowfully.

[Naruto]

Church's ears pricked. "Clovernose,"he said softly,pushing his muzzle against her's. "You know that I'll always take care of you,right? They'll let us in,and we'll have prey and our kits will live to be strong warriors. They might even be a leader,or medicine cat."

"Maybe," she purred, "I'm just nervous to go over there," She admitted. "I'm more nervous than I was when I first came here." He lifted her ears as her spirits lifted a bit. "As you said, if they don't accept us we can go on by ourselves," she jumped up then, "and those other cats don't have to know, if they don't accept us we can just come back here and just say we were on a walk or something. I'm sure we can do that."

[Naruto]

"Yeah. Should we go now,to see if they accept us?"Church asked,his eyes gentle. He was ready to fight if any trouble came. "I know where the territory is."

[Member]

Clovernose nodded. It was best if they started as soon as possible, just in case some trouble came up in the clan before they had the chance to join. "Yes, let's go now." Clovernose ran off, going, or where she thought, to the DarkClan territory. Suddenly she stopped and looked back at Church. "I don't know the way."

[Naruto]

"That's why I do."Church purred,running up ahead.
