Hunting(Open to all in the thread,Anyone Wanna Hunt?)

[Naruto]

Autumn raced through the forest,her ears pricked and her nose flaring. Rain hit her pelt,sliding off smoothly as her muscles rippled beneath the thick layer of fur. "Is right here good?"she asked quietly,stopping by a huge clearing. "I smelled deer."

[Wolvine]

Shiron lifted his head, the rain dripping down slowly. He nodded, not wanting to make a noise. He fell to the ground and tried to follow the deer's scent but found it hard because of the rain. Eventually, he caught the scent and raied his head to tell his Clan-mates, but lost is again. He let out a small growl and began all over again.

OCC: Isn't the plural of smell smelt?

[Naruto]

OOC:I think it's smelled.

Autumn growled in frustration,then paused. "Follow me,"she said quietly,padding on soft paws towards a break in the undergrowth. It was drier here;the scent would be stronger. Pushing her nose to the ground,she drank in the scent of their prey. "Over there,we'll ambush it."she said,pointing with her tail to a large tree-covered area.

[Wolvine]

Shiron nodded. He looked around for somewhere to hide which would somewhat cover his scent. He saw a bush, sniffed it and sneezed.
"Yep this will do." He could already feel another sneeze coming. "Sorry."
OCC: I'll look it up. Ok I have done. It says the Plural is......*DRUMROLL* Smells. Lol. wrong thing. I'll ask the next best thing. MY MOTHER!!! (She be english teacher she noes)

[Naruto]

Autumn looked at him,understanding in her eyes. "No problem,"she said in a whisper. "Be very quiet from now on,they have sensitive hearing."

[Wolvine]

He nodded and began to breath through his mouth. It helped so he climbed into the bush. He was begining to get used to this group hunting thing.

Autumn nodded. "When the deer comes around the tree,Shiron and Kraze will go that way to chase it towards the rest of us. Your job is very important,so try and grab onto his legs if possible. Careful of the antlers and hooves."Autumn murmured quietly. She looked back at Kraze,hoping he would do as she said.

[Wolvine]

OCC: Appaently in this thingymabob, its eather Smelt or smell depending if its past or present. Man speaking with my mum can get really boring XD

Shiron saw Autumn looking at Kraze and though about how different hunting had been for him when he was still a loner. he would have pounced on it, separating it from the herd and followed it, until it collapesed. This wasnt a very good method for sometimes he gave up before the deer but it would be easier to hunt this new way in a group.

Kraze was lost in his thoughts again. He should have been focusing on the hunt, but they weren't exactly doing anything at the moment, so he started to drift off. He was calculating, putting things together in his mind. Thinking of scenarios and the like. Anything really, he was just thinking of it. He snapped back when he heard his name mentioned.

"Huh?" Kraze responded, thinking someone was calling him. His mind, somehow catching all that was said, back tracked automatically to what had happened. He was on autopilot the whole time, and was greatful that his mind could still pick up on something while he was in his trance. He figured out what Autumn had said at a quick speed. "Oh yes," he said more back to his normal self, "I'll be sure to do it."

OOC: Smell is present, smelled is past, and smelt is a fish. XD

And.. herd? XD

Autumn nodded. She froze,looking towards the trees. "Here it comes,move behind it!"she whispered,sinking down low as the huge animal sauntered around the tree. The rain helped keep their scent from the deer,and she gulped,seeing the huge antlers mounted proudly on the deer's skull.

[Wolvine]

OCC: YAR HERD. Deer (like big deer with antlers) travel in herds. Mybe there be no herds here but if u read my bio you c I travel 4 LOOOOOONG time so where I came from there were herds. So there.

Shiron looked at Kraze as sighed. He felt that some things he would have to get used to. He tensed ready to spring when the deer arived. He moved behind it, slowly so as not to alarm it. He waited for Kraze in the shadows.

OOC: Deer with antlers are deer. Or bucks, still deer though. XD And... the herd isn't here now so....

Kraze nodded and crouched low before making his way around the area. He made a wide turn past bushes and trees, a good distance where the large buck wouldn't see him. When he finally got around he was about a yard behind it. He looked at it, his blue eyes gleaming in the depressing rain. He growled loudly at the buck, pulling back his teeth into a snarl. Quickly he pushed off in it's direction, trying to scare the great beast.

[Naruto]

The deer reared back,stomping the ground before running towards the other wolves. Autumn crouched,ready to leap on it and deliver a deathly blow. "Get ready,"she murmured to the other wolves with her.

[Wolvine]

Shiron watched as the buck bolted, Kraze hard at its heels. He waited until the deer came close and pounced. He missed of course for aim had never been his strong point and it took him a couple of seconds to turn and run, but when he did he soon caught up. He snapped at the buck's heels and though how easy running on flat ground was comperead to the cliffs, where he had been constanly getting caught in holes. But the deer was fast too, and so was Kraze he noticed.

[Naruto]

The deer kicked out with his hind legs several times,his eyes wide with fear. "Now!"Autumn cried,exploding from the undergrowth to catch the beat's shoulder. It bellowed and slowed,her weight bringing it closer to the ground. She kept good grip on it,her long canines digging deep into muscle and grinding against bone.

[Wolvine]

Shiron saw Autumn land on the deer, his eyes wide for he was impressed. He did not let that stop him though. WHen the deer stopped, he lunged at it, raking his long claws down the beast's back. He had long scine decided to use his unnaturally long, sharp claws to hunt, though this was strange in a wolf's behaviour. He was a strange wolf though, and had never really thought about what he had been made to do.

OCC: Brb dinner lol.

Kraze ran up to the three other wolves. The buck was down now, they could finish it off. He trotted back to them, panting, his tongue lolling out. He glanced over at Shiron before he licked his black snout. What was he doing? he thought.

"Shiron, don't shred all the meat off the prey now," he growled. He padded up to the buck and fastened his jaws around it's neck. He keep them closed tight, and waited for the buck to suffocate.

[Wolvine]

Shiron grinned.
"Sorry. Iv'e been doing that ever since I was a kid. These claws have to be used for something you know. I don't see the point in digging."
OCC: OK IM REALLY GOING TO EAT NOWS

Autumn growled,her paws dragging the ground as the deer fell on it's front legs. She let go swiftly and lunged for it's throat,her jaws clamping around the jugular. She bit down hard,the deer struggling beneath her as it's blood fell to the ground. She wrenched her head back,a terrible tearing sound as she ripped the deer's throat out. It shuddered once and died.

[Wolvine]

Shiron looked as Autumn killed the deer. He heard the ripping noise and shuddered, and just for a moment, thought of how awful it must be to be prey, always on the look out for predetors, only to know eventually you will fall to the mighty hunter.... The thought soon passed and he looked up at the sky and felt an urge to howl, for he had always howled after making a kill. His voice echoed down the streets, and he could hear the voice coming back. It was the voice of the mighty hunter.

[Naruto]

Autumn howled with him,her blood soaked muzzle pulled back to show sharp teeth,gleaming white in the pale light. Her eyes were shining as she howled her unique song,a beautiful yet eerie sound.

[Wolvine]

As he howled, Shiron looked at Autumn and thought of what she would be thinking of, of what problems she had and why Wolfclan seemed so gloomy. He felt like he was left out, he flet like he would never fit in and for the first time wondered why he had come to join Wolfclan, why he had left his life as a loner. He thought about L and Tsokiko and suddenly felt sadness well through him. He stopped howling and looked at the twoleg streets, his mind wandering.

[Naruto]

Autumn finished her howl and looked around,smiling. "Not bad for a subordinate,huh?"she asked breathlessly,noticing Shiron's sad look. I'll talk to him later. She thought,grabbing the deer again by it's torn throat. She dragged it along,panting.

[Wolvine]

Shiron shook his head as he noticed Autumn was walking away. He helped dragging the deer to camp, hoping that Kraze would clear the way. He felt exaughsted now, for not only hunting had made him sleeping but it was the effort of howling. He hadn't used his voice often and now it hurt to talk for long periods of time.

OCC: Brb I must shower and my mother wants a turn lol. Be as quick as possible.

Autumn muttered her thanks as they entered camp,her muscles sore.
