Bengalbelly stalked his prey. He closed in on it, ready to pounce. It sat there, forging under the bush, looking for seeds or anything it could find. It was a mouse. Bengalbelly stopped cold when the mouse lifted it's head and started looking around frantically and sniffing the air. Unfortunately, Bengalbelly was downwind, so it was bound to notice him. The mouse quickly snapped it's head into his direction before bolting off quickly. He made chase, speeding after it. In no time, he caught up to the mouse and raked his claws in it's neck, killing it.

He grunted and buried the mouse under the ground before looking for something else to catch. Quickly, he found something else. A thrush. He closed in on it, ready for another kill.

[Naruto]

The thrush fell,dead. Hazel eyes sparkled out of a bush,and an extended paw showed the culprit of the bird's death,it's claws buried in it's feathers. The eyes and paw quickly withdrew,the sound of a cat running evident from the splash as the form fell into a mud puddle.

Bengalbelly growled and let out a yowl of fury. Who was this cat? And how dare it steal his catch? Their prey. He bolted off, giving chase to the unknown cat. His claws slid out of his paws as he ran after the cat, getting closer and closer. He was already angry, maybe now he had someone to take it out on.

[Naruto]

A large ginger she-cat turned to face the tom,her eyes narrowed angrily. "Bengalbelly,"she snarled. "Why do you always show when I'm here?"

Bengalbelly stopped when he heard the she-cats mew. "What?" He growled before swiping at her. "I don't even know you!" He growled. Who was this cat? Coming here and then suddenly knowing his name? It made his fur bristled he angrily stared at her.

[Naruto]

The large she-cat smiled wickedly. "You honestly don't recognize me?"she asked in an innocent voice,her smile widening when he swiped at her. His paw went harmlessly through her,mist rebuilding her body. She narrowed her eyes. "I'm the only ghost that got to come back."

"No, I do-" Bengalbelly stopped mid sentence when the she-cats paw misted. That was... Heatherpaw!? "What are you doing here!" He yowled at her, his fur bristling to their full height and his teeth bared in a snarl.

[Naruto]

Heatherpaw snorted. "I was hunting. But then you came along. I really miss killing." She added fondly. She looked down at her pelt. "I came here as the body I would've had as a warrior,"she glared at him,"And this is the one time I can come back. At sunhigh."

"You flounce around in a warriors pelt?" Bengalbelly growled. "You could never be a warrior. Your walking around in that form just to fool yourself into thinking you have something?" He snorted and glared at her, his eyes narrowing.

[Naruto]

"I didn't get to choose,"Heatherpaw growled menacingly,her pelt bristling. She turned and walked a little bit,before turning back around. Anxiety sparked off her pelt,and her dark eyes grew worried. "I don't have much time,"she muttered to herself,glancing at the sun.

ooc- Just so you guys know; since Heatherpaw is bound to the river, she must return to it after sunhigh. If not; she is pulled back forcefully. There is only one way to free herself ... but Rush only has one friend that could help. But she's not much of a 'helper'. Siren.

Bengalbelly grunted. "Even a worthless cat like you has some choice when it come to choosing what form you want to be in. Maybe not. You probably didn't deserve it so they didn't give any to you. Not a surprise."

Heatherpaw lashed her tail angrily. "I didn't have a choice because-"she cut herself off and looked at her paws,biting her tongue so she couldn't say anymore. He'll just gloat more...she thought angrily. She looked up and glared at him. "Just shut up and get out of my way,"she snarled,shoving past him rudely.

Bengalbelly eyes widened, but then they fell back to their narrowed state. A grin spread across his face, a satisfied one. Now why couldn't she do that when she was alive?

"Fine, be on you way," he said calmly, the grin on his face still there.

[Naruto]

"Fine,"Heatherpaw snapped,padding back towards the DarkClan camp. She snarled as a rabbit jumped in her path,leaping on it to rip it's throat out. She tasted the blood in her mouth,and fury flooded through her. She clawed viciously at the remains,her vision a red haze. She only stopped when the satisfying rip of flesh stopped,and the splash of blood started. She had reduced the carcass of the rabbit into a bloody pulp,red spattered all over the ground and on her fur. She smiled evilly and left it there,her ghostly scent all around it. "A parting gift,"she hissed darkly,glaring into the bushes.

Bengalbelly padded behind her, looking down at the rabbit. 'I don't understand why you couldn't be this way during the days you were actually alive and less of a nuisance?" Geez, it would have made thing a whole bunch easier. Really. Probably would have had some fun as well.

[Naruto]

Heatherpaw hissed in anger. "Well sorry,"she spat,"I didn't get the message." She turned and stalked away,her teeth bared. She looked back with hate filled eyes,glaring at Bengalbelly. "I thought you wanted to be rid of me."she sneered,her voice cold.

"Well, yeah, I do now. Your too much of a headache for me to hang out with now," Bengalbelly grunted. If that was true then why was he talking to her now? He shrugged off the thought, hoping she doesn't ask herself.

[Naruto]

Heatherpaw just snorted and turned abruptly,her tail waving high in the air. She stalked off,wanting so bad to turn and give Bengalbelly a clawing. She stopped at a huge oak tree,reaching up on her hind legs to sharpen her bloody claws on the rough bark. She stopped gouging the wood when she saw Bengalbelly following her. "Why are you following me?"she asked in a furious howl,her eyes narrowing to angry slits. She got down on all fours again,her tail lashing. "If you hate me just leave me alone,and we'll both be happy!"she hissed,stalking forward.

"Well... you are going towards the camp, and I do have to get back to camp. Or... is that a problem? Would you rather me sleep out here in the rain?" Probably yes. He padded after his old apprentice. "I would love to, but, I have nothing else to do, besides, I might as well say anything I have to now before I see you later tonight." The camp seemed to hold nothing for him as of late and he really didn't want to go back to that annoying, mouse-brained apprentice Bramblepaw. "It's not like I can do anything with Bramblepaw. And if I did he'd just complain and do something stupid."

[Naruto]

Heatherpaw glared balefully at him. "Maybe you should've thought twice about killing me,"she spat,stalking away. She turned away from the camp,hoping that the old fool wouldn't follow.

Bengalbelly followed after her. Eh... why go to camp when he could bother her? Right? That should be slightly entertaining. "No thought was actually enough for you. It wasn't hard to tell that my choice was the right choice. And if it wasn't for Nightstar I would have gotten to do it then."

[Naruto]

"Ugh,leave me alone!"Heatherpaw spat,suddenly whirling. Her fur bristled out,making her even larger than Bengalbelly. Her claws itched for a fight,but before she could speak,her body started to dissolve and she howled in terror. "No! I don't want to go yet!"she growled,her eyes wide. Her searching gaze found the sun,at it's highest point.

Bengalbelly looked at her calmly. She was... dissolving? Well... that was certainly weird, but... he couldn't put anything past that cat, she seemed to do a lot of weird things now. "You know, maybe you should have done something fun instead of paying so much attention to me."
