Edward flopped down, his nose a few mouse-lengths away from a dandelion. He exhaled, and the grey seeds scattered everywhere. One landed on his nose, and he sneezed, wriggling. But Ed couldn't wriggle far...his paw was stuck. Tangled up in the roots of a tree in a rabbit hole, Ed could not move his left hind foot at all. His voice was a little sore from shouting. But just thinking about how much of a mistake he'd made - Ed flicked his mane out of his eyes and growled.

"SOMEBODY GET ME OUT OF THIS!!!! HELLOOOO!!! HELLO?!!!!" he howled, wriggling and kicking and in the end, trapping his paw even further in the now-caved-in rabbit hole. He took a deep breath, and resumed shouting.

Autumn and Mud were patrolling when they heard hoarse shouting. "Who is that?"Mud murmured to his sister,who shrugged. Her eyes were tight with wory,and they both used their noses to determine fresh scent from stale scent. "Looks like it's Ed,"Autumn mumbled,her voice thick with worry. "What's he gotten himself into now?"Mud wondered. "I don't know,but we have to help him."Autumn growled,racing ahead. She skidded to a halt beside Edward. She sniffed him all over,looking for injury. Then she came to his paw. Seeing it was stuck,she went to the other side and began digging just underneath his paw. Hopefully,the hole would be big enough for him to slide his paw out.

"How embarrassing..."Ed muttered, inhaling for another round of shouting and yelling. A couple of wolves came over, and he was relieved to see Autumn and Mud. "Hello." he smiled, trying to seem like he was there on purpose...and failing. Autumn started digging at the ground, and Ed managed to twist round and bite through the thin roots. "Thanks Autumn." he grinned, "Ah, I bet I've scared off all the food now." he scowled. "Thanks again." Ed turned around and started to walk away to try and catch something. Rabbit would be nice, he thought...

"No prob,"Autumn panted. Mud came up,and asked,"What did you do now?"but he was smiling.

[Edward]

Ed looked side to side in a comical manner. "Uhhh...nothing??" he tried, head tilted with a smile on his face. Edward had been charging after a fox for amusement, and had stupidly watched a bird fly up in the sky while running. While marvelling at how pretty it looked - cream-on-blue, Ed and stumbled into a rabbit hole, caught his foot, and trapped himself.

Ed, thinking about this, now had a lopsided 'Oh crap I must've looked stupid' look on his face, but shook it off and flicked his mane out of his eyes again. "I...fell over." he shrugged, grinning.

Autumn laughed. "Nothing,Mud,"she said affectionately to her brother. "He fell and started wailing for help?"Mud asked,smiling.
