Sneakin Out, Idk.

Whitekit had sneaked out again, for the umpteenth time. She practically knew the forest like her tail by now. She wandered about, wondering what she should do. She was finally weaned off her mother, Barkfur's, milk and no longer needed it. She enjoyed having mice and today she fancied having some vole in her jaws. She wanted to learn how to hunt, and she figured she could teach herself. "How do I find them?" she mumbled to herself, not sure of what she was doing.

[Lynx]

Luckykit, always together with Whitekit, had followed her friend out. As they left the camp behind them she dared to mew something. "What are we up to this time? I love adventuring with you!"

[Goldenstorm]

Whitekit had forgotten, surprisingly, that Luckykit was with her. "I want to try and catch a vole." she mewed, her eyes filled with determination. "If the warriors can do it, why can't we? Besides, we're really close to being 6 moons old anyway. We can use the practice." she shrugged lightly, continuing her pawsteps deeper into the forest. Her tabby fur mixed perfectly into the dead leaves and twigs on the wood floor.
"Are you gonna do it?" she asked, her sunny gaze falling onto her black tabby friend.

[Lynx]

"Sure! I'm older than you, so I will catch one first!", she joked and poked her friend in the side. Then she raced into the forest and stopped apruptly. "The warriors always sniff the air." So did she, she sniffed and tried to remember how vole smelled when she ate one back at camp. There it was a faint trace of vole. "Do you get it? I think here is one nearby!", she yowled.

[Goldenstorm]

Whitekit's eyes lit up, grinning from ear to ear. "Yeah, I got that scent seasons ago!" she bounded ahead, following the trace of vole. She loved a good adventure, the thrill of the mission or the excitement of just being out there alone, no warriors to protect you. She could feel her blood coursing through her ears as she stopped a few fox-lengths ahead. "The trail stops here." she muttered to herself, she whipped her head around. "The trail stops here!" she called back to her friend, unaware of the vole roughly a badger-length away from her, looking straight at her frozen with fear.

[Lynx]

Luckykit saw the vole. "shhh, be quiet!", she mewed, sneaked up on it and jumped at the vole. However, iot was faster and began to run. "After it!", Luckykit yowled and hurled herself after the vole.

"Alright!" Whitekit yowled in her rush of exileration. She darted forward, her paws gliding over the woodland floor, her feet barely touching. Her sunny eyes burned like fire as she moved closer and closer. She was practically in reach of the vole now, her nose just about to touch it's tail. She swiped out a paw, loosing her footing and snagging the prey's tail all at the same time. "Get it!" she called as she rolled over on the ground away from it. The vole lay slightly stunned on the ground, just about to get up.

[Lynx]

Luckykit reached her friend and pressed her paws on the prey. "Wow, you're really fast", she mewed. Then she looked at the vole. "Good catch. You caught it, you have the honor to kill it."

[Goldenstorm]

Whitekit jumped up onto her paws, her eyes wide. "No way! If you weren't here, I wouldn't be able to share it with you. That vole wouldn't be pinned down. You do it." she ended. Luckykit deserves it, she'll be an apprentice real soon now. She needs the practice more than ever. There'll always be another day for me.

[Lynx]

Luckykit's face was hot with pride. "Okay, but you'll take it home and show our first fresh-kill.", she mewed. Then she looked at the tiny creature who tried to escape her grip. With a bite at the neck she ended the prey's life. "Everyone will be so proud of us! I can't wait to share it with you back at camp.", she mewed. "Thanks anyway for taking me with you."

[Goldenstorm]

Whitekit grinned from ear to ear, her eyes lit up with a mixture of sly humor and happiness. "No problem. Besides, your the only one who understands a single word I say." she shrugged, acting as if it weren't to important but pride swelled up in her chest. Suddenly the smile was lost to a grim look."But we can't go show anyone that vole. What are they going to do if they found out we sneaked out for 100th time? I'll probably be stuck in the Nursery for half a moon and your Apprentice Ceremony might be postponed." she mewed.

[Cheesles]

"You shouldn't be out here!" A dark figure hissed, its green eyes glistening with bloodlust. A tongue swiped around the jaws of the creature lurking in the shadows. "It will be nice to eat you young kits..." A deep chuckle came from within.

"BOO!" Lynxpaw leapt out of the bushes, her green eyes flashing. "Hopefully the kits had learnt a lesson. "Creatures like that lurk in the forest, thats why kits don't leave camp, even with a warrior." She mewed.

[Goldenstorm]

Whitekit glared at Lynxpaw, not fooled by his games, though she was a little startled. "You've got no right telling us what we have to do. Why don't you go take care of the elders or something. We already know what's in the woods and we're not afraid of it." she growled, though her mumbled squeaks couldn't be understood by anyone but Luckykit.

[Cheesles]

"Don't talk to me like that kit!" Lynxpaw glared at dangerously curios kit. "I'm taking you back to camp right now!" She mewed picking the kits up despite its helpless struggles.

[Goldenstorm]

ooc: uh... u do know that whitekit can't talk, right? She mumbles and speaks wierd.

Whitekit squirmed and struggled, sending her claws upward, she tried to scratch Lyxpaw's head. "Let me go! Get off of me! Luckykit, help!" she cried to her friend, helpless against Lyxpaw's grip.

"Come on Luckykit, be a good girl.." Lynxpaw turned and padded back to camp, hoping Luckykit would follow.

[Amberstorm]

Luckykit hissed and spat as her friend was taken. "Don't you dare touch Whitekit!!", she yowled and catapulted herself at Lynxpaw. She unsheathed her claws and was streaking furiously at the apprentice's back. "You not take my friend! We were hunting for the clan!!", she yowled and her paws rotated like a windmill, of course cats don't know what a windmill is, but her paws rotated anyway.

Whitekit let out a couple of growls, at the same time as she let her claws fly at Lynxpaw's nose. "Let me go!" she yowled at him, her body beginning to fall limp. I won't go without a fight!
