Applekit leapt into the clearing, landing in a crouched position as if she were to pounce again. He tail wiggled with happiness, as she saw a butterfly flutter past her nose. She leapt up, paws like lightning she tried to strike the butterfly, but it swiftly fluttered from her grasp.

Hehehe... Thrushkit chuckled, seeing the perfect opportunity. He had gotten remarkably big, and he now was the biggest in his litter. His fox-like tail thrashed with pleasure. He waited until Applekit pounced on the butterfly and then, fast as the speed of sound, he dashed along. He reached his sister but didn't pounce. Instead, he sped past her, keeping one paw outstreched to swipe his sister's paws from under her.

Rookpaw stalked slowly into camp, his face cheerful despite all the gloom. Hunting always made him happy, even if he was unsucsesful. He lay down near the kits, watching, waiting. His mentor never taught him, so prehaps practicing witht he kits would keep him fit.

Thrushkit was bigger, but Applekit was both faster and cleverer. (XD) She leapt up just in time, feeling the air rush beneath her as her brother swiped. She leapt backwards and landed beside Rookpaw. "Hey," She mewed cheerfully.

[Wolvine]

"Hey Applekit. What you playin?" Rookpaw grinned. He was still a kit at heart, always would be.

[Cheesles]

"I dunno," She mewed, rather sheepishly. Applekit was a little jealous that Rookpaw was already an Apprentice. But soon she would be too, and she practise battle moves with him. Applekit had always had a little crush on the older tom, but she knew he was more likely to go for someone his age...

"Where just playfighting..." She mewed, thinking, her tail fluttering over her lips. She kept a careful eye out to make sure that Thrushkit wouldn't attack.

OOC: Rookpaw is ten moons old -.- He was an apprentice before she was born.

Rookpaw gave a grin. "Mind if I join in?"

"No problem!" Applekit mewed, her eyes brightening up and her face setting free a huge smile.
