Visiting

[Wolvine]

Thistlefur's pawsteps where agitated. He knew he shouldn't be here, but he couldn't keep himself away any longer. If cats could sweat, there would be a new river forming in the middle for Thunderclan territory. He climbed up a tree, and looked down, waiting for the familiar pelt of Barkfur.

[Goldenstorm]

Barkfur sneaked away from the Nursery, her kits now old enough to do what they wish. Being stuck in the Nursery for three moons was driving her insane so she snuck out to find her head again.
As she padded slowly through the undergrowth, she picked up a scent. Breathing in she recognized it, ShadowClan. she spat in her mind. She sped up her pawsteps, moving at a brisk trot. She kept scenting the air, and after a few more heartbeats of her fast breaths, she halted immediately. It can't be.... She looked around, spotting the familiar pelt of Thistlefur.
Her tail shot up and she called quietly to the tom, "Trespasser!" she teased him.

[Wolvine]

Thistlefur jumped, landing in an arkward position where his front half was clinging to the brach and his back half was in the air. "Barkfur! You scared me out of my pelt!"

[Goldenstorm]

Barkfur chuckled, "Just doing my job." she waved her tail in the air as she leaped up onto the tree, clawing into the rough bark. She reached his branch, "So how ya doin?" she asked in a friendly purr.

[Wolvine]

"Fine." Thistlefur meowed, hauling himself back up. "How are you?"

[Goldenstorm]

Barkfur shrugged, "I've been better. Silverstar announced we're leaving at quarter-moon." she mewed, her words soaked in worry. Her tail dropped and her ears sank a bit. "But the kits are doing great. They're all eating fresh-kill now and Sealkit and Whitekit are quite the adventurers." she purred.

[Wolvine]

"Well, Shadowclan are moving as well. I wonder if everyone is going? Wolfclan didn't really show up for the last gathering."

[Goldenstorm]

Barkfur looked over where WolfClan territory was, "No one has heard much of them the last couple of moons. We can only hope for the best for them." she meowed.

[Wolvine]

"Eh... Maybe its best they don't come with us. I mena, they always seemed so bothered about having to share their territory with cats... They sacre me." Thistlefur shuddered.

[Goldenstorm]

Barkfur laughed, "I didn't think big, mean ShadowClan warriors were scared of anything." she nudged him with her shoulder.

[Wolvine]

"Yeah well, Shadowclanners are ment to hate Thunderclan. Maybe I'm just the weird one." Thistlefur purred.

[Goldenstorm]

Barkfur laughed, "Well maybe that's a good thing." she purred, her soft hazel eyes shining.

[Wolvine]

"Barkfur, does anyone suspect anything?" Thistlefur meowed, suddenly serious. He gazed into his mate's eyes intently.

[Goldenstorm]

Barkfur easily shrugged it off, "Only Fellmoon knows, and I haven't seen him in moons. No one suspects anything. No need to worry." she smiled.

[Wolvine]

"And the kits? Are they ready to be apprentices yet?"

[Goldenstorm]

The tabby nodded, "Yes. In about a moons time, they will be known as Sealpaw, Whitepaw, and Vinepaw." she mewed, "Then it will only be a little while longer 'til you can see them again. Until they can find out the truth." Barkfur meowed.

[Wolvine]

"Its been so long..." Thistlefur sighed. "Well, at leats I get to see you."

[Goldenstorm]

Barkfur licked her mate sympathetically on the ear, "I know, Thistlefur. But I promise you'll be able to see them. Not StarClan themselves can stop me." she mewed, serious and sober.

[Wolvine]

Thistlefur smiled, and gave a yawn. "Goodness I am really not looking forward to this journey. I mean, I know where all dieing here, but think of how many cats will be injured, lost even."

[Goldenstorm]

Barkfur nodded, "I know. It's horrible. But only strong can survive these harsh times in Clan life. I know this sounds horrible, but maybe it's for the better." the she-cat replied, a little ashamed that she would even mention the thought of good death.

[Wolvine]

"But kits, new apprentices.. It's not their fault if they don't survive.." Thistylefur sighed, true to his pessimist nature.

[Goldenstorm]

Barkfur too sighed, "That we just can't help. But I won't let our kits be harmed. What ever may happen, they will make it to the new territories." she meowed, defiance in her eyes.

[Wolvine]

"I hope the clans will be able to go togeather, instead of just one at a time.."

[Goldenstorm]

Barkfur thought about this for a moment, "I think we're going in groups, if not all together." she mewed, remembering what some cat had told her about the journey.

[Wolvine]

"I know, but one can have dreams can't they?" Thistlefur sighed.
