Hunting for kits.

[Sneezewhisker]

Cherrydapple waited for Owlflight and Silveeshine to arrive, then they could go hunting.

[Lynx]

Silvershine followed the others in the forrest. "Pebblepaw, come on! It's a good oppurtunity for you to see how to hunt!", she mewed behind her shoulder to her new apprentice.

[Sneezewhisker]

Cherrydapple called after Silvershine, "Wait! We need to wait for Owlflight."

[Swiftfire the nz Pac-man]

Owlflight bounded out of the camp enterance, his speed hard to match. He came to a halt next to the others.

[Lynx]

"So we're just waiting for my apprentice", Silvershine mewed to the others.

[Naruto]

OOC: Are you prey-stealing or something? This is RiverClan. *Throws them all back over the border* Gah.

OOC: so is Owlflight and Cherrydapple! DX

ooc: Gosh guys! Why would we pray steal?

OOC: I am confuzed.

OOC: Because I think Raineh was thinking about Cherrypaw, Owlkit (cause 'dereish two, right? o.o), and some other one. IDK! XD JUSSA GO ONE WITH YOUR THREADS NOWS!

Pebblepaw sprinted after Silvershine, having a bit of trouble catching up to the other warriors. But once he saw the group of warriors, he skidded to a stop right in front of Owlflight. Pebblepaw smiled sheepishly as he stared up at the warrior, before quickly moving to Silvershine's side. He was unsure about how the other warriors would react to a new apprentice being on patrol with them, so he decided to try his very best not to make a fool of himself. He would run faster, jump higher, and catch more prey than anyone expected him too!

[Lynx]

"Owlflight, Cherrydapple, Pabblepaw will accompany us. He was never out of camp before, I want him to watch us and learn. So please, don't do something stupid.", Silvershine mewed, adressing all three cats. Then she lifted her nose in the air. "Mouse.", she whispered. "Can you smell it, too, Pebblepaw?"

[Sneezewhisker]

"Yes," Cherrydapple said, dipping her head to Pebblepaw. "Would you like to try and catch it?"

Pebblepaw lifted his nose in the air, trying to catch the scent. The rain made it hard for him to spot it at first, but luckily, the wind blew the scent towards him. He pinpointed the scent in a clump of bracken, and narrowed his eyes to try to see the piece of prey. He waited a little, staring at the bracken, before a light brown shape appeared, searching for seeds on the ground. "M-me? Try to catch it?" He whispered, shocked by Cherrydapple's request. He knew the hunting crouch, but he wasn't sure whether it would work or not; he hadn't quite perfected the move. But he couldn't back down. So, Pebblepaw gained perfect balance while standing up, then he lowered slowly into a crouch, so he could keep his balance while close to the ground.

Once he was close enough to the ground Pebblepaw slowly crept toward the mouse, making sure to keep downwind of the prey. Once he was a rabbit-length away from the mouse, Pebblepaw leaped up, pointing his paws towards the mouse. Unfortunately, he landed clumsily, and his paws actually landed next to the mouse. The mouse scampered away into the undergrowth, and Pebblepaw was left to stare at it in dismay.

[Lynx]

Silvershine gave a mreow of laughter. "Sorry", she mewed. "That was really not bad! For that I haven't taught you anything yet it was brilliant! After you learned anything there is you will be a great hunter." Then she turned to the other warriors. "Now let's get some food for the kits."

Pebblepaw's eyes shone with pride. "Really?" He asked, staring up at Silvershine. He was surprised that even though he didn't catch anything, he was still praised by his mentor.

[Swiftfire the nz Pac-man]

Swiftpaw bounded out of camp at top speed. "Can I please come too? I haven't been out of camp yet!" she asked, looking into Cherrydapple's eyes.

Owlflight watched Pebblepaw. Not bad... he thought,assesing his skills, even though Pebblepaw wasn't his apprentice. He will make a great warrior one day... and this one, he thought, looking at Swiftpaw sprinting out of the camp.

[Sneezewhisker]

Cherrydapple laughed at her apprentices' eagerness. "Sure. Come on then," She said, then started padding away with the others.

[Lynx]

"So we have two new apprentices.", Silvershine mewed. "Great, they can learn a lot today." Then she followed Cherrydapple. They walked a bit until they reached the swollen river. "We're Riverclan cats are the best fish hunters there are.", she mewed to the apprentices. "Stay and watch." Silvershine swum across the river so her shadow was behind her and sat at the shore. There she waited for several minutes with her paw in the air. Then, fast as lighting, her paw shot down and came up again with a fish. Quickly she batted it to the shore and killed it with a bite. "You need to watch your shadow so the fishes won't see you. And then you must stay still until one is directly under your paw.", she mewed, then took the fish in her mouth and swum across the river again.

"Wow," Pebblepaw whispered, astounded by how fast his mentor caught the fish.

[Lynx]

Silvershine smiled. "One day you can do that, too." She burrowed her fish in some bush with earth and turned around. "Cherrydapple, Owlflight, why don't you show the apprentices how to hunt land prey?", she mewed.

Pebblepaw smiled with the thought of one day being able to catch fish like that, and turned his attention to the other two warriors. He sat down uncomfortably on the wet ground, and kept still as he watched the warriors.

[Sneezewhisker]

"Thanks Silvershine," Cherrydapple said. "I think I'll leave the fish-hunting to you for now," She said, laughing. Then she turned and padded away into the forest. "Shh," She instructed quietly. "In order to catch prey, you must be quiet at all times." She had scented a vole. "What can you smell?" She asked, itching to pounce on the prey, but holding back enough to teach the young ones.
