Batpaw's eyes flared with surprise for an instant. "Then why do you care so much? Why are you even bothering me right now?" he hissed, his fur bristling out. Not so that he was twice his size. Like, seriously. When those little kits and little apprentices did that it made them look like a thistle. It was stupid.

"You're the nosy apprentice who wants to know what I do in my spare time." Ravenfeather snapped right back. She lashed her tail, so hard it was like she was imagining she was whipping an apprentice off his feet. Preferably a midnight-furred, gold-eyed apprentice.

"Why don't you?" She snarled. No amount of words could allow her to release her frustration. I was here first, anyways! She wanted the hiss at him, but that was far too juvenile. Her fur was bristling so that she looked even taller than she was already, and she did nothing to stop it.

Batpaw narrowed his eyes. "Fine! I will!" He turned and started to stalk away, anger making his fur spiky. It made him look menacing. His golden eyes flashed with anger and hatred. Hatred at the Clan that he was born in. Why couldn't he be with Leafpaw in ThunderClan? Then everything would be easier.

Orchardpaw stood up slowly. Gee, goodness gracious and StarClan. This was just... It was insane! Her little timid mind and body couldn't handle this. She liked it better when she didn't get caught up in stuff and was just quiet on her own side... kinda like now. She padded over to Ravenfeather a little, perplexed, confused, unsure of what to say or how to handle the situation.

"Is everything alright?" She asked her. Um, no, duh, but.... what else could she have said?

From across the ThunderClan border, two eyes the color of which I can't remember peered from the darkness of two twin bushes. Hidden, the toitosesshell, whoever it's spelled, watched with disdain as things unfolded over the river. She just got there not too long ago, but while she was there she'd seen anger that she wished she hadn't from Batpaw. What was wrong with him? Luckily, she'd missed the whole rant about hating clanmates and stuff, and now she watched as she left, the two cats apart of the qualm, which she was hiding from in the first place, still standing there, watching him go.

She sighed quietly, prepared to leave, but at the same time, she didn't want to go, she couldn't anyways. She felt she had to wait for those other two to leave. Suddenly, a breeze from behind rushed roughly past the trees and the bushes, pushing her fur up behind and putting a sense of uncomfortability in her. She was too concerned about her fur to remember the dangers of winds from behind, and the fact that her sent was drifting over the water and t the noses of the cats over there.

Ochardpaw lifted her ears, her nose twotching as she caught a scent. ThunderClan. Where? She looked behind her and saw nothing. It made her fur bristle. What would a THunderClan cat be over there for? But... then again, it was their territory. She hoped that the cat didn't hear them, she didn't know the intention of the cat. What if they..? No, that was stupid.

She saw no one over the river. Maybe they left, maybe not. She looked back ahead at the departing Batpaw. So many problems in so little time...

Batpaw cursed at Ravenfeather and Orchardpaw under his breath. There was no end to their idiocy! They wouldn't be able to catch a mouse if it sat in front of their noses. And how did Ravenfeather know so much? Had he really given it away? But... He'd been so careful! He remembered the fear that had gripped him when she'd asked who she was. He couldn't let himself get into a position like that again. It might blow his secret if-

Suddenly the breeze picked up, blowing across the border. He felt his heart speed like it normally did whenever he caught that scent. Even more so when he sifted through the many cats' scents to find one. Always there waiting. Leafpaw! He had to bite his tongue to prevent saying her name aloud. "No... She can't be here." he muttered under his breath as he turned around.

His eyes just barely saw her dark moss-colored eyes against the underbrush. He noted that his fur immediately smoothed and that his ears pricked. Will she ever feel this way...?

Leafpaw licked down her fur, feeling more comfortable as she did. She didn't see how WindClan liked all of this. At least there weren't leaves in her fur. She looked back over the border, still seeing the other two there, though, one of them seemed to notice her. StarClan... From her angle, she couldn't catch sight of Batpaw. Her ears drooped. He was gone, she just knew it.

It was hard getting out here and making sure Sweetfur didn't notice or Rockpaw didn't get too suspicious and a lotof other stuff, it'd all been for nothing. She stood up some, not really caring if the RiverClan cats saw her or not.

Oh... the sadness that would insue. Maybe in a couplemore days she could come back. She couldn'tmake her late night visits as frequent. Hopefully Batpaw would understand and not run back over the border like he had last time. She sighed and turned around, going back into the dark forest.

OOC: And she makes a twopost cameo. :3

Batpaw saw Leafpaw turn and go back into her own territory, and felt as if his heart had dropped. Pain flashed in his gaze for a moment before he turned away again. Maybe she hadn't seen him?

Ravenfeather twitched her whiskers in annoyance as a ThunderClan scent drifted over to her. She glared around her, feeling ready to take on a badger. Whoever this was, they'd be leaving without their pelts. Just then, Batpaw's movement caught her eye. He seemed... dejected. Like he was waiting for something that was about to happen, but it didn't. Her heart started to accelerate, and her narrowed gaze searched across the river for the ThunderClan she-cat that Batpaw was so desperate to see. She thought she caught the shadow of a cat from across the river, but the rain and night combined blurred everything, and when she blinked again, it was gone.

Batpaw's head snapped over to where Ravenfeather was, as if suddenly aware of his previous actions. Oh great... he thought bitterly, baring his teeth in a slight snarl.

Orchardpaw tilted her head. What was going on? Whatever it was, Batpaw was pretty eager for it, and Ravenfeather seemed to know what it was. She felt there was some connection she wasn't getting, but... she couldn't place it.

Ravenfeather scowled when she saw Batpaw. In her concentration on the shape across the river, she had forgotten about stupid Batpaw. She whipped her head around to face the opposite direction, only to see Orchardpaw studying the both of them with a sort of questioning look on her face. She turned her head again to gaze across the churning black water. Whoever it was seemed to have left for good. Good. Batpaw's enough of a mouse-brain without having another cat encourage it as well.

Cherrydapple was padding toward the river to hunt. But she stopped when she saw Batpaw walking away, Ravenfeather just standing scowling after Batpaw, and Orchardpaw looknig scared and innocent. She padded over to Orchardpaw. "What's going on?" She asked concernedly. Just then she caught the scent of Thunderclan on the breeze. She raised her hackles and let her senses reach their widest. She knew she didn't have to be this curious, when it was the border of Thunderclan too, but she couldn't help calling, "Who's there?" out accross the river.
