Grumble grumble. . .

Soulkit cracked open her eyes to darkness. She peered around the nursery, looking at all of the sleeping forms. She rose out of her nest and began creeping for the nursery entrance. Curiousity prickled at her pelt as she wondered what lay outside the camp. She hoped none of the other ThunderClan members were awake. But all she could hear was the patter of rain and the slow breathing of the sleeping bodies. Before she could even exit the nursery, though, she tripped over a cat she didn't see.

Twilightkit growled to himself, some chubby mcchub had just tripped over him. And it was irking him more than usual. He had just measured himself yet again and realized, to his dismay, that he hadn't grown the smallest bit in the last moon. It was embarrassing, and he went around with a pink flush in his black fur for most of the day. He was too humiliated to go to sleep. But when a cat tripped over him, that took the dead mouse. He stood up instantly, his claws shooting out and fangs bared. "WATCH WE'RE YOU'RE GOING!"

Soulkit's eye's widened to giant saucers at the site of Twilightkit. He looked scarier than a badger, even though she didn't know how scary they were for sure. She squeaked and shrinked in. Her tiny frame shook and her pelt quivered. "Please don't hurt me!" she pleaded.

Barkfur looked over, Twilightkit apparently scaring Soulkit out of her mind because she had bumped into him. "Twilightkit. Leave her be." she growled, warning the kit.

"I was peacefully sleeping and minding my business. SHE WAS TRYING TO KILL ME!" Twilightkit screeched louder this time, looking at Barkfur now with gray eyes twisted into pools of agitation. Why shouldn't he be mad? Everyone always took the stupid she-kits side, what about him? Didn't they ever wonder why he was so grouchy. Ugh... This clan was hopeless.

[Snigger]

Soulkit squealed, "I'm sorry I was just tryin to-" She cut herself off before she finished that statement. She almost just told on herself before she even commited the act. She squirmed in her pelt, she hadn't even meant to wake up anybody, let alone make Twilightkit want to kill her! She apologized, "I reallly am sorry, honestly I truely am!"

Bluekit walked out of the den and behind Twilightkit. "Will you shut up?!" He yelled at the other kit. All he was trying to do was sleep, and sleep was hard to get for him. His pelt bristled a little as he glared at him. Goodness. He was worse than Flopsiepaw.

Soulkit whimpered and shook even more. First Twilightkit, then Barkfur, and now Bluekit! They were all yelling! Tears started to well up in her eyes. She dashed away through the camp. It was so horrible here! No one ever got along! She tore out of camp, not looking back or listening to any calls someone may have said.

Barkfur shook her head, "I hope you two are happy." she sighed.

Bluekit watched as Soulkit dashed off dramatically to the entrance and left the camp. "Pfft. She'll be back. That's obvious." That's why no one was persuing her. She'd be right back and then no one will care and everything will be back to normal.

"You should learn to hold your tongue." Barkfur growled at the kit, she wasn't usually mean but this was about a kit's life. Safety was everything in the woods. She got to her paws and walked out of the entrance. "Stay in your nests." she meowed at Twilightkit, over her shoulder as her tail disapeared behind the bramble of the camp wall.
