Its been a while....

[Cheesles]

Shadowclaw paced just beyond camp. His tail twitched with impatience. He hoped that Flarestorm, would come this way, maybe they could go hunting.


(Curse Felecitys bio! I used to much of my muse on it.)

[Naruto]

Flarestorm trotted into the undergrowth, nearly bumping into her mate. "Shadowclaw!" she purred.

NO MUSE

[Cheesles]

"Flarestorm!" Shadowclaw raced over to his good friend and licked her cheek.
"I haven't seen you in ages, well, we haven't been hunting together for ages!" He mewed licking his chest in embarrassment.

[Naruto]

Flarestorm purred. "I know. It's just been so busy, what with the rainstorms and all." She licked her paw to hide embarrassment. "Want to go fishing?"

[Cheesles]

"YEAH OK!!!!" Shadowclaw yowled childishly bounding towards the river not even waiting a moment.

Flarestorm raced down to the river, her ginger pelt gleaming with good health. RiverClan was eating more than the other Clans, because the rain actually increased the amount of fish in the river. But that also made it more dangerous, because of the strong currents.

[Cheesles]

Shadowclaw slowed as he neared the river letting his good friend catch up, then seemingly reading her mind he mewed,
"Be careful, we don't want either of us slipping and being pushed down stream with all this rain!"

(She should like slip in an he saves her or something.)

[Naruto]

Flarestorm smiled. "I'll be fine." she assured him, digging her claws into the soaked moss. The river was several fox-lengths higher than it should be, muddy water lapping at her paws.

[Cheesles]

Shadowclaw gestured with his tail for Flarestorm to stay back. With one big dive he leapt into the swirling torrent of water. He reappeared moments later with a fish in his mouth. He pulled himself out of the river and buried his kill in the reeds.

[Naruto]

"Nice catch," she purred, eyes shining. She spotted a small water vole and pounced, snapping it's spine with her paws easily.

[Cheesles]

"That one was even better." Shadowclaw mewed.

[Naruto]

"Not really. But thanks!" she mewed, burying her kill next to Shadowclaw's.

[Cheesles]

"So you want to continue up stream?" Shadowclaw mewed breaking the silence that had settled between them.
