Quailfeather's Sorrow Empty Quailfeather's Sorrow

How could this have happened... Her only living son, yet again falling for another gorgeous she-cat. She couldn't believe how different they were in personalities. She had never even wanted a mate, contrary to her son, Leopardstrike, having at least seven lovers, but she didn't know whether to feel angry, or sad of how many times his heart was going to be broken. With Raindapple having moved on, as well as Lillyflower, and his kits. She had grandkits that Leopardstrike didn't even know about. Looking into the glistening Spirit Lake that was surprisingly vacant she could see multiple images. All of her sons happiness, love, and loss.

His adoration of Irisglade a she-cat that he barely knew, his love of his long time friend Raindapple, through kithood to his warrior ceremony, his secret meetings of Blossombreeze escalating to the point where he had almost killed her brother, and the birth of her grandkits. Then his small crush on Lillyflower which was completely unimportant. And then the taboo of his unbridled love of Moonecho, that one took the cake, and Quailfeather could only pray to StarClan that that didn't lead to any more kits.

The more she saw these things, the more she could see how terrible her only sons life would be. He had a half brother he had just met, and already he seemed terrible, they had even met Hawkfrost, who should of been an example to them of why being evil would be a horrible thing to do, but they listened to that foxheart. And she couldn't do anything about it, she just sat here in StarClan dead. Unable to speak to her son, for he was too far away from the Clans to be contacted, but what if she could go to the Clan's and tell these she-cats. But tell them what? That her son was a lying cheat?

Yes... He was that. But he did love each and everyone of them, she could see that in his heart. But these she-cats may not know that. Especially this Raindapple. But could she really sneak out of StarClan to go see him? She had to, or else this could get out of hand, quick. She had to tell someone about her sons treachery, but should she consult her sister? No... That would throw her off the deep end, the closest living relative of her, evil. But she had to tell someone she could trust. Taking a deep breath she scanned the horizon for any cats that could stop her.

And slowly she moved into the water, the whole lake brightening up as she entered in to it.
